All NEDA employees to be retained under new DEPDev

All the current employees of the National Economic and Development Authority (NEDA) will be retained under the new Department of Economy, Planning, and Development (DEPDev), which was officially created with the enactment of Republic Act (RA) No. 12145.
President Marcos signed RA No. 12145 on April 10, and with the reorganization of NEDA, the new law mandates that all its employees will be retained under the new structure, and any displaced staff will receive separation or retirement benefits under existing laws.
