Alas Pilipinas faces another gargantuan task of keeping its ambitious campaign alive in the 2025 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship when it clashes with Egypt on Tuesday, Sept. 16, at the Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.
The Nationals needed every arsenal they could in their 5:30 p.m. tussle with the Egyptians, who are coming off a morale-boosting 25-17, 16-25, 25-23, 25-20 upset victory over higher-ranked Iran on Sunday, Sept. 14.
Though nursing a 25-13, 25-17, 25-23 beating from Tunisia in the opening last Friday, Sept. 12, the Filipino spikers are expected to learn from the loss and go all out in this crucial match.
