2 of those accused in Barayuga killing surrender to NBI

Two of those accused in the 2020 killing of Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) board secretary and retired police general Wesley Barayuga have surrendered to the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI).
NBI Director Jaime B. Santiago said those who surrendered, and now in the custody of the bureau were Lt. Col. Santie Fuentes Mendoza and dismissed policeman Nelson Enriquez Mariano.
"Nung malaman ni Colonel Santie Mendoza at ni former officer Nelson Mariano na meron nang warrant of arrest, they contacted my OTCD (Organized and Transnational Crime Division) para sumu-render (When Colonel Santie Mendoza and former policeman Nelson Mariano learned about the warrant of arrest, they contacted the NBI's OTCD to surrender)," said Santiago.
