Win 'against all odds' for Belle's stars

|April 16, 2025
BELLE VUE boss Mark Lemon hailed his side’s ‘against all odds’ powerhouse display to beat Oxford.

The ATPI Aces took a 53-37 victory in the ROWE Motor Oil Premiership at the National Speedway Stadium on Monday night.
But it was achieved on the backdrop of injuries and issues including losing No.5 Dan Bewley with a jarred back after just one ride.
Lemon said: “In the end it was a win against all odds. On Monday morning I was worried about being without two riders in Jaimon (Lidsey) and Norick (Blodorn). That was a big worry.
“Jaimon had an issue with traffic in Poland, he was travelling with his family and they missed their flight.
“Then Norick was struggling with injury from the crash at Leicester last week. He was not too keen on racing. He did an amazing job to perform like he did.
