Salford chief Rowley 'hopeful' of extending deals for loan players

SALFORD travel to Headingley this evening looking to back up last weekend's victory over Castleford.

It's a task made much more difficult by the injuries picked up in that win, however, with Paul Rowley confirming significant blows for Esan Marsters and Jayden Nikorima, while Logan Lewis misses out because of concussion protocols.

"Jayden has a fractured arm and Esan has damage to his shoulder so we're awaiting the appointment of the specialist," said the Red Devils coach.

"But that's long-term - we're not going to see Esan for a while."
