Richard's praise for top dog 'lookalike' Larry

RICHARD Madeley has spoken for the first time about a lookalike competition which was held in Stockport and crowned a pug as the winner.

Over the weekend, hundreds of people gathered at Alexandra Park in Edgeley for an event promoted as a Richard Madeley lookalike contest.
Held on Sunday, the competition saw people turn up in masks and outfits inspired by the TV presenter. Ultimately, it was Larry the pug who came out victorious at the event after sporting a wig and a mock waistcoat.
