THE summer holidays are officially over and the kids are going back to school.

September is here, ushering in a new school year, a new season and a plethora of new games.

And there's lots to be excited about, not least the arrival of the much-anticipated Hollow Knight sequel, Silksong, a new Borderlands game and Silent Hill f delivering chills as we slide into the spooky season.

Hollow Knight: Silksong

Hollow Knight fans have been waiting eight years for this game.

Silksong follows the adventures of Hornet, former princess of the fallen kingdom of Hallownest as she explores the fallen insect kingdom of Pharloom.

Originally planned to be DLC for the 2017 original, developer Team Cherry announced in 2019 that the project had grown so quickly, they would be taking it forward as a standalone game.
