Artisans set to pop up at new marina market

A MARINA described as a 'quiet and beautiful spot' is to get a new popup artisan market.
Saddleworth Marina, in Greenfield in Oldham, is stationed within the historic Huddersfield Narrow Canal and is located just a 10-minute walk from Uppermill.
Featuring 16 moorings, the £1.7m private marina on Frenches Wharf opened in 2013 and also overlooks the Kingfisher pub.
It has been announced that the marina will now play host to a monthly market, which will be held on the first Sunday of the month and will officially get under way on Sunday, August 3.
