Amorim's bid for back-to-back victories

At Brentford on Saturday

- By DAVID McDONNELL

IT seems incredulous, as he approaches a year in charge of United, that Ruben Amorim has failed to win back-to-back Premier League games.

Amorim's record of nine wins from 32 Premier League games is pitiful, but of just as much concern is his failure to carry over the winning formula from those games into the next one.

Even David Moyes, who lasted just 10 months at United - the same length of time Amorim has been in charge - won back-to-back league games on seven occasions during his ill-fated spell in charge.
