MACCLESFIELD seconds welcomed Didsbury to Victoria Road and batted first after the visitors won the toss and elected to field.
Conditions favoured the bowlers as cloud cover helped the ball to swing and Muhammad Rehmani and Aaron Grimbaldeston took full advantage with fabulous opening spells.
Macc lost Jimi Tibbits with the score on 10 followed quickly by the wickets of Chris Beckley and Tom Isherwood.
