|May 14, 2025
RESTBURY firsts, looking for their first win of the season, travelled to Trafford Metrovics.
Trafford won the toss and decided to bat.
The opening Prestbury bowlers J P Roets and Prestbury skipper George Brindley had early success with Roets getting the opener Samal bowled for 1, then with no score added Brindley and Hardicker LBW again for 0, Trafford were 3 for 3 and with the score moving on to 37.
The first change bowler Sumon Ahmed had Qureshi brilliantly caught by Daniel Woolf for 5 but soon Ahmed had his second wicket with Baig bowled for 0, 45 for 5.
