Hogging the limelight
Macclesfield Express
|September 17, 2025
AN ADORABLE little hedgehog foraging in a Macclesfield back garden is among the stars of Cheshire Wildlife Trust's 2026 calendar.
-
The creature was caught on camera by keen photographer Tom Greenwood and was chosen as one of 12 winners in the nature charity's competition.
Each year the trust invites picture submissions of wildlife in the area and selects a winner and runner-up for each month to be used in its fundraising calendar.
Tom's snap will be featured for October and is not the only local image to be picked.
