'Disruptive' property shut

POLICE in Macclesfield have shut down a property in the town that made residents' lives a misery.

The property on Newton Street, Macclesfield, was closed down on Friday 23 January, after officers from Macclesfield Local Policing Unit were successful in obtaining a Closure Order from Warrington Magistrates' Court.
During the hearing, officers submitted a substantial amount of evidence relating to antisocial and drug-related activity at the address.
