UNITED supporters will welcome the return of the Champions League anthem at the Allianz Arena on Wednesday night.
However, the reality is their first matchday provides their toughest test in the group stages of the competition.
Bayern Munich are the top seed in the group and will provide a menacing opponent for the Reds.
While in an ideal world, United would win every match, a draw in Bavaria would be a decent result, especially considering Erik Hag's side's form away from Manchester against the big clubs. United must also deal with a familiar opponent.
Following his move from Tottenham Hotspur in the summer, Harry Kane has already adapted to his new surroundings in Germany.
