NEW Joy Division artwork is being planned in Stockport in tribute to one of Greater Manchester's most famous bands.

The proposed installation is based on the cover of Joy Division's Unknown Pleasures album cover and could be created on the front of a building in Stockport's historic Underbanks if a planning application is successful.
