Nunes, 25, was the final summer signing for the Blues in a window that saw four new faces brought into the first-team squad as another four headed for the exit.

Having shown interest in Jude Bellingham, Declan Rice, and Lucas Paqueta, City ended up agreeing a £53m deal with Wolves for Nunes in the final week of the window.
