FOR one mum, her love of LEGO didn't stop when her children grew out of it in fact, it only got more intense.

LEGO legend

And she's now showing her creations off around the world, even if she admits her teenage children are a little 'embarrassed' about it.

Earlier this year, Victoria Worsley, from Heald Green in Stockport, was one of 15 people chosen globally to showcase their own designs at the LEGO headquarters in Denmark.

The opportunity only came about after top LEGO designer and Master Builder Stuart Harris spotted Victoria's work on display during the Bricktastic convention in Manchester earlier this year.

Like many people, Victoria had grown up playing with the building blocks as a child before putting the toys in a box and forgetting about them in the attic of the family home.

But when her children, now 18 and 19, were growing up they were brought out of retirement and sparked something in Victoria.

"I grew up with LEGO and then I went through a stage as a teenager where I just felt like I was too old for it," Victoria, who works as a copywriter in publishing, said.
