A SHOPPER returned to her car to find it had been stolen - along with her blind 89-year-old mum.

The woman had left her mum, who is blind, disabled and has dementia, inside the car with the engine running to keep the heating on, while she popped into a shop.

But opportunist thief David Stephenson, not fazed by the fact the elderly woman was inside, got into the car and drove off.
