Fernandes looking to step back as he reveals he enjoys a deeper midfield role at Old Trafford

BRUNO Fernandes has admitted he enjoys playing a deeper midfield role for United, despite having made the No.10 position his own over the last few years.
Fernandes has been an unmovable object in the starting team since signing from Sporting Lisbon in January 2020 and he's made the majority of his appearances as an attacking midfielder.
The 29-year-old is one of the finest chance creators in the Premier League and he contributes goals throughout the season. However, Erik ten Hag has chosen to play Fernandes on the right wing and in a deeper midfield role on a few occasions during his time as manager.
