City play waiting game as title rivals hope for glory by default

CITY are on the verge of creating English football history and on the balance of play this season, it would be deserved.
While the Blues have spent less time at the top of the Premier League than their rivals Arsenal, they have been ruthlessly consistent as Pep Guardiola's team of 'mentality monsters, to coin a phrase from Jurgen Klopp, look to win their fourth consecutive top-flight title.
The victory at Tottenham Hotspur was not pretty and some may say City lived up to their moniker of 'boring' in the first half but they got the job done.
Now, Guardiola's men know the challenge is simple. Beat West Ham United today and they will write their names into the history books.
