MANCHESTER City booked their spot in the FA Cup fifth round with a hard-fought win against Tottenham on Friday night. Nathan Ake scored the winner to gun down the north Londoners.

It was a typically high-octane 90 minutes between two big hitters from the Premier League. However, there were not too many clear-cut chances at either end before Ake struck from a set-piece. 

Bernardo Silva and Kevin De Bruyne went close in quick succession with Ake eventually settling the scores to see treble-winners City through to the next stage.
