Worldwide festivities celebrate Chinese Mid-Autumn traditions

Vibrant Mid-Autumn Festival celebrations were staged across the globe, uniting overseas Chinese and local residents in the spirit of tradition and cultural appreciation.

A variety of cultural showcases, coupled with interactive experiences such as crafting mooncakes, practicing Chinese calligraphy, and donning traditional Hanfu attire, further enhanced the lively holiday atmosphere.

In Brussels, Belgium, a Mid-Autumn Festival concert was held at the Chinese Cultural Center on September 22, attended by over 160 Chinese and Belgian representatives from various sectors.

Both locals and overseas Chinese participated in a series of traditional events, including mooncake making, at the event.

"In your culture, it's traditional for family gatherings and watching the moon. That's all I know and we live close by, so we decided to come and check it out, and learn a little bit more about Chinese traditions," said a Brussels resident.
