Time running out to share MIU thoughts

THERE are just days left before a public consultation on the future of Llanelli’s Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) closes.
The 12-week consultation closes on Tuesday, July 22, and Hywel Dda University Health Board is encouraging anyone who has not yet taken part to complete the consultation questionnaire or get in touch to share their views.
Health bosses say every voice matters and people should not miss their chance to shape the future of this important local service.
The MIU has been operating under temporary opening hours of 8am to 8pm daily since last November, due to staffing challenges and to ensure patient and staff safety.
The consultation seeks views on four potential long-term options for the service, as well as any alternative suggestions from the community.
