FISHER SIGNS A FRESH DEAL
Llanelli Star
|July 02, 2025
AMMANFORD stalwart Matthew Fisher has pledged his future to the club for another season.
-
The attacker has made almost 400 appearances for the club, scoring 128 goals along the way.
And he is set to play another key role for the Black and Whites next term when they embark on another season in JD Cymru South.
Ammanford finished third two years ago, but slipped back to 11th last season.
But there are high hopes the club can seal another top-half finish in 2025-26 under manager Wyn Thomas.
Fisher said: “There was never a thought in my mind about leaving.
“As soon as I got the phone call from Wyn asking me to stay on, that was that. It was an easy decision to make.”
