Sir Paul thrills crowd with guest appearance at Springsteen show
THOUSANDS of fans descended on Anfield again last night to see legendary American singer Bruce Springsteen.
This week saw the 75-year-old rock superstar finally perform in Liverpool for the first time in his career.
Springsteen packed out the stadium both on Wednesday and last night. And Saturday's show had an incredibly special moment for the city when Sir Paul McCartney joined him on stage. Springsteen's shows in Liverpool have been the realisation of a long held dream to perform in Merseyside.
'The Boss, known for hits including Born in the USA and Dancing In The Dark, is renowned for his legendary live shows and huge catalogue of songs, from his incredible six-decade career. He has released 21 studio albums in this time and earned many awards in the process including 20 Grammy Awards and 140 million records sold worldwide.
Last night's Liverpool show was the final UK date on the Land of Hope and Dreams Tour. The show will next be performed at Berlin's Olympiastadion in Germany on June 11.
