44-year-old was found with knife in his waistband

- By WESLEY HOLMES

A 44-YEAR-OLD man turned to TikTok to intimidate his girlfriend’s ex-partner after he reported him for vandalising his front doorbell.

Mark Crickson, of Rothbury Road, West Derby, posted a picture of his rival to the social media platform, claiming: “This rat and his mate tried to jump me and pre-booked the police to nick me” adding: “Snitches get stitches.”

It followed an incident at around 8.30pm on December 1 last year, when victim Bradley Highton called police after seeing Crickson on his Ring doorbell camera. At Liverpool Crown Court this week, prosecutor Callum Ross said: “The complainant (Mr Highton) returned home in order to establish the damage to the property.

“He has seen the defendant on nearby Mab Lane, there has been a confrontation, and officers then located the defendant.
