WOLVERHAMPTON Wanderers look set for a difficult campaign as they slipped to a third straight defeat, going down 3-2 to Everton at Molineux yesterday. Hee-Chan Hwang made it 1-1 and Rodrigo Gomes set up a grandstand finish but Everton proved too strong with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall’s third goal proving the winner.

Striker Jorgen Strand Larsen was missing with a “niggle”, amid repeated bids from Newcastle, but boss Vitor Pereira says the Norway international will be at the club when tomorrow’s transfer window shuts.
