A MAN asked his girlfriend “am I your fella or not?” just minutes before stabbing her to death.

Rebekah Campbell was caught on CCTV fleeing her flat block with bloodstains on her clothes five minutes after telling Michael Ormandy she no longer wanted to be in a relationship with him.

Ms Campbell, 32, died after what was described as a “sustained and violent assault” inside her home at Knowsley Heights in Huyton on April 15 this year.

Ormandy, of Linacre Road in Litherland, denies murder, saying he acted in self-defence.

An ongoing trial at Liverpool Crown Court previously heard how the pair had been involved in a series of violent rows during a night out in Liverpool city centre a few days before the fatal incident.

Yesterday, further messages were read out from the night of April 15, leading up to the fatal attack at about 10.25pm.

In a series of audio recordings, Ormandy told Ms Campbell “it’s like you f***ing keep on forgetting I'm your fella”, and accused her of “treating him like s**t”.
