Rovers manager Andy Crosby says his side are finally looking up the League Two table, as they target the playoff spots ahead of tonight's visit to Barrow.Following recent success, picking up seven points out of an available nine, Rovers find themselves sat in 15th place - meaning they are now closer to the promotion places than relegation.

In their last league match, a 2-1 win over Grimsby, striker Kristian Dennis netted a 96th minute winner to put the Super Whites six points behind Cambridge United who currently occupy the final playoff spot. Crosby (below left) insisted the opportunity to move closer to the top half of the fourth division was a part of how he motivated his players before the Grimsby fixture.

He said: "Moving closer to the playoffs was certainly the pregame message at Grimsby, and we managed to close the gap.

"We are looking upwards now. It is always about how we can win the next game and we just need to be brilliant at the basics of the sport.

"We go into the Barrow match off the back of three really good league performances, and we now enter a really busy period with a lot of fixtures in the next five weeks or so.
