JOHN LAWLESS SCRUMS DOWN ON THE RUGBY LEAGUE SCENE

AFTER all that, we've ended up with a repeat of last year's Betfred Super League Grand Final as Wigan Warriors and Hull KR again go head-to-head at Old Trafford tonight (KO 6pm, Sky Sports Main Event).

But will we end up with the same outcome?

Last October, Wigan emerged victorious with a 9-2 win in a typically hard-fought season finale.

The only try of the match was scored by Warriors standoff Bevan French with a trademark solo effort in the first half.

French will again be one of the X-factor players most likely to produce the key moment in tonight's encounter.

And that’s what these games often come down to.
