Service rated good, four years on from fatal fire

A CARE home has turned its fortunes around four years on from a tragic blaze that claimed the life of a resident.

Back in 2021, police and fire officers were called to Brook View Care Home on Longmoor Lane in Fazakerley. Emergency services later found a man's body inside.
Now, in its first formal inspection since the heartbreaking fire, the care home, which provides support to people living with nursing needs, mental health conditions and physical disabilities, has received a clean bill of health.
