Reds ready for trip to champions after defeat

Goals from Katja Snoeijs and Karen Holmgaard secured the win for Everton before Sara Holmgaard's late sending off.

It means Liverpool need a positive result on the final day of the Women's Super League season to ensure they are not leapfrogged by their Merseyside rivals or West Ham in sixth place.

The Reds travel to WSL champions Chelsea in a 12.30pm kick-off tomorrow at Stamford Bridge.

Injury news

Liverpool will be without striker Leanne Kiernan and defender Lucy Parry for the trip to Chelsea. Interim boss Amber Whiteley confirmed the pair will be absent for the final day clash with respective injuries.

"We're still going to be without Leanne Kiernan this weekend and Lucy Parry as well," she said.

Kiernan has an ankle injury and missed the clash with Everton. Whiteley confirmed Parry has picked up a hamstring problem.
