FAMILY'S TRIBUTE TO 'MUCH LOVED' WORKER

THE family of a man who died in an industrial incident have paid tribute to the ‘loving brother, uncle and friend’.

Andrew Blundell, known to his family as Drew, died after emergency services rushed to the scene at a unit between Glendower Street and Orberon Street in Kirkdale at around 8.50pm on Tuesday, September 30.

Merseyside Police and North West Ambulance Service arrived following a report that a man had been seriously injured at the industrial estate. The ECHO understands the unit is that of Chinese firm Shunfa Construction, with emergency responders arriving to find Andrew had suffered serious injuries. after a heavy object had fallen on him. He was then pronounced dead at the scene.
