A BROADWAY musical has been announced for Liverpool, with a Scouse legend taking on a key role.

The smash-hit romantic comedy Waitress will come to the city this September as part of its 10th anniversary tour.
Waitress tells the story of Jenna Hunterson, a gifted pie baker working at a small-town diner who feels trapped in an unhappy, emotionally abusive marriage while facing an unplanned pregnancy.
