Loanee Armstrong a doubt for Preston
Liverpool Echo
|November 24, 2025
PRESTON North End believe the injury suffered by Harrison Armstrong is not a serious one.
-
The teenager, pictured, on loan at Deepdale from Everton, picked up a groin problem while on international duty with the England Under-19s.
He missed Preston's home defeat to Blackburn Rovers on Friday night as a result. He remains a doubt for the Championship side's midweek tie with Watford.
Armstrong was called up for Will Antwi's England U19s and played the last 15 minutes of the 2-0 win over Lithuania, replacing Sunderland midfielder Chris Rigg in the second half.
