Liverpool will host one of the world’s leading lifting equipment events this year, giving local people and businesses the chance to discover an industry that usually works behind the scenes.

LiftEx 2025, organised by the Lifting Equipment Engineers Association (LEEA), will take place in the city and is free to attend for visitors.

A LEEA spokesperson said: “People are often surprised to learn how much lifting equipment touches their everyday lives.

“From bridges and stadiums to ports and entertainment venues, safe lifting is everywhere.

“LiftEx is a chance to see that expertise up close.”

LiftEx brings together global manufacturers, suppliers and service providers to showcase their latest equipment and technology.

Visitors can see a broad array of lifting equipment, innovative load-monitoring systems and bespoke rigging solutions, all under one roof.
