I think that the Carabao Cup is a competition that Everton have always got to be serious in.

Liverpool all too easily exploited the space in between the midfield and defence
I know some people aren't really interested about it but I am.
It can keep the tempo and the positivity of your whole season going and we can learn from the past couple of years. After Amadou Onana missed against Fulham - when he had the chance to put us into the semifinals - that seemed to derail the whole campaign as our hope went and our entire demeanour changed.
It was similar when Ashley Young missed against Southampton last season. That seemed to kill things again.
We've moved to Hill Dickinson Stadium and there are a lot of positives talking about how we've started the season, but we've got to keep that going. We've already beaten Wolves and they're under pressure.
