'Intoxicated' woman stuck in mud is rescued from beach

COASTGUARD SERVICES CALLED AFTER VICTIM FOUND 'UNCONSCIOUS, FACE-DOWN'
A WOMAN was rescued after being found “unconscious, face-down in the mud” on Crosby beach.
Emergency services were called to the area on Saturday evening, to reports of “an intoxicated female stuck in the mud”.
HM Coastguard Wirral and HM Coastguard Crosby were contacted, and the Crosby coastguard team deployed their specialist 4x4 vehicle to search the beach.
