EVIL TEEN MADE DOZENS OF ORDERS YEAR BEFORE ATTACK

SOUTHPORT killer Axel Rudakubana used other people's driving licences to bypass age verification to order deadly weapons the year before his deadly attack.

The teenage triple murderer made more than a dozen orders for weapons including machetes, knives, bow and arrows and castor beans to make the poison ricin the year before he targeted the Taylor Swift-themed dance party in July 2024.

The ongoing Southport Inquiry heard this week that Rudakubana would use his own payment card to make the purchases, but would often use the shipment name “Al Rud” and the address for his next door neighbour.

The inquiry was told how a number of websites which Rudakubana ordered from had age verification processes in place.

However, Merseyside Police senior investigating officer Jason Pye told the inquiry that Rudakubana, who is only being referred to as AR in the proceedings, had used genuine driving licences belonging to different people.

On June 10 2023, AR made an order from Springfields.co.uk for a 22in bush craft survival machete.

The inquiry was told he used details of a woman called Alice, who was from Sunderland and was born in 1992.
