The basement of the Grand Central building on Renshaw Street
THE basement of Grand Central is set to be given a new lease of life.
Fozia Choudhry, 54, from Wave tree has taken on the lease of the basement of the Grade II listed building on Renshaw Street. The historic space in Liverpool city centre is well-known for being the former home of Barcelona Bar and Quiggins.
Now, it is set to be transformed into an Asian buffet-style restaurant, with plans for the space to be used for weddings and events. Fozia, who is the owner of Fozia's Kashmiri Kitchen on Picton Road in Wavertree, was given the keys at the start of September.
