VIP MUSEUM EVENTS OFFER CHANCE TO GET UP CLOSE TO BEATLES ARTEFACTS... AT A PRICE
A tour guide tells the story of Brian Epstein's controversial briefcase
THE Beatles Story is to launch a VIP tour that will allow fans to get up close to items connected to the Fab Four.
The exclusive museum tours start with drinks and nibbles before an evening of spellbinding stories from passionate Beatles experts, centred around five original artefacts.
Visitors can get their picture with George Harrison's first guitar, pose with one of Paul's basses, look through John Lennon's glasses, sit at Ringo's drum kit, and hold the Brian Epstein briefcase that could have brought the band down.
While not cheap, with tickets costing £170, the tour offers Beatles superfans a unique experience.
Before the tours officially launch in January, the ECHO was granted a first look.
The night begins with drinks and a chance to be photographed crossing Abbey Road or playing to a screaming crowd at the height of Beatlemania, thanks to a green screen video effect.
