MEDIC ALSO ADMITTED TURNING UP FOR WORK UNDER THE INFLUENCE
A LIVERPOOL doctor faces being struck off after crashing his car and having his keys taken from him by a member of the public. Dr Josu Mendiguren was seen staggering from his car after he crashed his Volkswagen Golf into a number of parked vehicles.
The doctor, who was found to be nearly four times over the legal limit, also put his car into a wall. He was later found guilty by magistrates but a Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service (MPTS) hearing was told how the practitioner who worked at Townsend Medical Centre in Anfield did not inform the General Medical Council (GMC) of his conviction.
