SAFARI PARK ASKS ECHO READERS TO CHOOSE NAME FOR ITS NEW BABY TIGER
KNOWSLEY Safari welcomed the arrival of two healthy Amur tiger cubs in July, marking a significant milestone in protecting the future of this big cat species - the largest in the world and classified as endangered by the International Union for the Conservation of Nature.
The park is now giving ECHO readers the opportunity to name one of the cubs, whose sex, names and weights will be revealed soon, from one of the 10 names (see panel, right), which have their meanings alongside them. All the names are suitable for both genders. Every vote will also be entered into a draw to win a family day pass to Knowsley Safari.
