'Better than Christmas Day'... Everton stars spread cheer at Alder Hey
CHRISTMAS cheer spread through Alder Hey Children's Hospital on Wednesday as manager David Moyes and his Everton squad made their annual festive visit to spend time with patients and their families.
Moyes, first team coach Leighton Baines, club captain Seamus Coleman and winger Jack Grealish headed to the wards to meet and hand out gifts to youngsters who are currently undergoing treatment, or facing the prospect of spending the festive period in hospital.
Meanwhile, the rest of the squad joined a special Christmas party for Evertonians who have been patients at the West Derby facility throughout the past 12 months.

Gunned down - but Blues now have their own 30 years of hurt
IT was the year that Baddiel and Skinner sang 'football's coming home' as England hosted the European Championship. But in the same way they wouldn't predict that '30 years of hurt' was going to at least double for the Three Lions, it could now also apply to Everton winning in front of fans at Arsenal.
