Get out the hunny... it's Winnie-the-Pooh's 100th birthday
WINNIE-THE-POOH - the bear of little brain but a big heart - is 100.
Author AA Milne created the stories starring a teddy bear belonging to his son, Christopher. The bear had been bought at Harrods as a present for Christopher, who named him Edward.
The bear was later renamed Winnie after a black bear at London Zoo who had been the mascot of the Winnipeg regiment of the Canadian army.
