Yes, I do like but just not
Leicester Mercury

HERE were some delicious treats on offer at the annual ChocFest last weekend - but they were strictly off the menu as far as I was concerned. No, I got sent there to try the more weird than wonderful stuff.
-
The event, held at Melton Mowbray Market, was brimming with tons of mouthwatering treats from around the UK and beyond for people to enjoy.
As well as everything made of chocolate, the popular festival has a wide range of hot food, booze and local cheese, pies and biscuits.
But rather than taste test all the finest things available at the two-day event, I was sent there to sample the odd stuff - chocolate-dipped pork pies, chocolate-drizzled cheese straws and other not-so-tasty inventions. According to my editor, no-one wants to read about someone eating something they like.
The hybrid pork pies are a regular at the event, made by Ye Olde Pork Pie Shoppe, in Nottingham Street in the town.
Once a year, they take a batch of their brilliant savoury treats and dunk them in chocolate and, in my humble opinion, ruining them!
Leanne Hunt, who was serving the abominations, said they were selling like, er, hot cakes.
