MARTI Cifuentes is hoping his mantra will today finally cut through to the Leicester City squad after their second-half collapse at Bristol City on Wednesday, writes Jordan Blackwell.

Leading 2-0 at halftime and on their way to three points, City were dominated by the Robins in the second period, the hosts well worth the point they earned.

Cifuentes said that his halftime message was to push for a third goal, but his team conceded inside a minute of the restart and were on the back foot thereafter.

While they held out for victory at Derby at the weekend, they also sat back at Pride Park and did not have a shot in the second period.

Cifuentes said in his maiden interview at the club that he wants his teams to push for more goals even when they are in front, but it is not an instruction that is so far being seen on the pitch.
