LABOURED AT TIMES, BUT LAST QUARTER SEES LEICESTER PICK UP THE QUALITY - AND POINTS
CONFRONTATION: Tom Christie and Tigers' Joe Heyes square up. Below, there were tries for Joaquin Moro, Freddie Steward and Tommy Reffell
(STU FORSTER, GETTY)
JOAQUIN Moro scored a double to continue his excellent form as Tigers downed Red Bulls in Newcastle 39-17.
The first 60 minutes was even between the two sides, but Tigers were more clinical and James O'Connor came on to close out a five-point win.
The opening 40 was far from a thriller, with the two sides both attempting to gain a significant physical advantage but failing.
Wingers Adam Radwan and Ollie Hassell-Collins - perhaps Leicester's two best players this season - touched the ball a combined three times.
