ONLINE POSTS OVER STATIC CARAVANS 'MISLEADING' AND 'SPREAD DIVISION'
A FOOTBALL academy has hit back at online claims it is housing migrants.
Officials at Grace Dieu Manor Park in Thringstone, spoke out about posts spreading misinformation and division after static caravans on the site sparked online speculation.
The site is home to the Grade II listed Grace Dieu Manor and is currently operated by the FCV International Football Academy, which aims to equip aspiring players with the skills they need to progress in the professional game.
However, the appearance of static caravans on the site surrounding the 19th-century country house had led to speculation that migrants were being housed there.
Officials have dismissed these claims and made clear it has no such arrangement with the government.
