Family-run restaurant in top 100 for the UK

A RESTAURANT has made a list of top 100 eateries across the country.

John’s House is the only Michelin-starred restaurant across the county to achieve the feat, making it on to Harden's top 100 restaurants in the UK for 2025.

Run by John Duffin, it is in Loughborough Road, Mountsorrel, and was widely praised by the Harden’s judges.

They said: “John Duffin’s restaurant on the family’s Stonehurst Farm continues to delight diners with excellent and interesting cooking.

“The attractively simple, brick-lined space draws praise for its amazingly priced £49 set lunch and consistently strong reports for both value and experience.”
